Christopher J. Hogan is running for Rhode Island House District 52: Cumberland. Chris was born and raised in Cumberland and has been married to his wife, Ashley, for 14 years. Together, they raise their daughter Aubrey in the Thompson Hill neighborhood of Cumberland.
Chris is a proud veteran of the U.S. military, having served a tour of duty with the United States Coast Guard while deployed in Iraq and Kuwait in 2009/2010 for joint operations with the U.S. Army, Navy and Marines. Today, Chris continues his service as a Sergeant for the Amtrak Police Department in Providence.
With his daughter Aubrey in the Cumberland public school system, Chris and his family are invested in Rhode Island’s long-term future. Chris is motivated to bring a fresh, new voice to the RI General Assembly. He aims to develop our state economically by creating a fair, competitive business environment that attracts and maintains businesses both large and small, spurring an entrepreneurial spirit in Cumberland and beyond.
Good intentions aren’t enough – after years of our representatives doing it one way with little gained, Chris wants to create a state that families in Rhode Island can be proud of. Instead of losing our kids, families, and businesses to the rest of the U.S., it’s time we work to keep the Ocean State thriving and open for business.
Chris believes that “Hope” still exists in Rhode Island, and he pledges to represent Cumberland residents to the best of his ability
